The Happy Bones project will be presented in the neighborhood next Thursday, July 15 at 5 pm in the auditorium of the Civic Center of Sagrada Familia.
La Fundació Claror has become part of the European project Happy Bones from the hand of the Health and Aging Foundation. The project consists of seeing theeffect of physical training on the prevention of osteoporosis and osteopenia in women aged 50 to 65 who are in the menopausal / post-menopausal phase.
The Fundació Salut i Envelliment is the leader in research in Spain and elsewhere Claror we will take care of the intervention with a physical training program of 3 weekly sessions for a period of six months.
The physical activity program will begin in September at Claror Sardenya from the hand of two professionals with a lot of expertise in the prescription of exercise as prevention of the pathologies associated with menopause: Albert Gimènez, sports doctor; and Txela Inness, a physical activity technique.
The program is funded by the European Commission's Eramus + program and is free for all women who participate.

The participating group will also nurture the referrals that can make the CAP Sagrada Família and the CAP Roger de Flor in the framework of the Social Prescription Table of which we are part of both the Health and Aging Foundation and us.
