The athlete from Sevilla, Manuel Olmedo (1 number) won the men's category and won the Ciutat Vella International Trophy - the SPORT Grand Prix, the professional series of the Sagrada Familia Mile, organized by the Claror Foundation, and that took place all the mornings of Sunday 6 of May around the temple of the Sagrada Família of Barcelona, amid a great festive atmosphere.
Manuel Olmedo (4'17 ") commanded the entire race and transferred the goal line in a finishing line ahead of the second and third placed athlete also Sevilla Luis Alberto Marco (4'18") and Juan Carlos Higuero ( 4'NUMX ''). Manuel Olmedo imposed his law from the beginning and was not intimidated by his immediate persecutors who sought to approach uselessly in Seville in the last meters.
Olmedo was very satisfied with his triumph and declared to the media that "I am pleased to repeat the victory at the Mile because there were very good competing runners." This is his second win at the Sagrada Familia Mile.
Solange Pereira, winner of women
Solange Pereira (dorsal 6) was imposed on Isabel Macías in the female series.
