This spring the urban grill is born: sign up for outdoor activities!

2 April, 2012

Starting in April, the urban grid will be launched, the offer of outdoor activities included in the subscriber rate of the five centers managed by the Claror Foundation (CEM Claror, CEM Sagrada Família, CEM Marítim , CEM Can Caralleu and the Llinars Sport).

The urban grill arises from the desire to take advantage of the environment where the sports centers are located to offer new and different activities, which can not be carried out in the sports center itself, as well as for outdoor sports.

The urban grid is for all subscribers over 18 years of the five sports centers managed by the Claror Foundation and can participate in the activities offered in the four centers located in Barcelona, regardless of the center to which it is associated. In this way socialization is encouraged among the subscribers of the different centers.

Guided activities

The proposed activities will always be abroad and will be directed by technicians. In addition, they are included in the subscription fee, although exceptionally, the assistance of non-subscribers will be allowed through two invitations, which will be delivered at the same time as the inscription on the urban grid.

The initial offer will be valid from 16 from April to 22 June, and the schedule of activities will be from Monday to Friday, from 14 to 15 hours and from 19 to 20 hours.

The urban grid is an offer that arises from the possibility of doing physical activity outside the centers taking advantage of the environments offered by the city of Barcelona, such as the Parc de l'Oreneta or Collserola at the CEM Can Caralleu, the seafront at the CEM Marítim and the nearby parks and the urban environment in the case of CEM Claror and Sagrada Familia.

In spite of being part of the activities included in the subscription fee, interested subscribers will have to register at the reception of their center to guarantee the control of the number of inscriptions. It will be necessary to make a single payment of 5 euros and, in return, two technical jerseys will be delivered with an exclusive design of the urban grid that will identify the participants during the classes.

The meeting point will be the space where the activity is carried out, except for those organized by the CEM Can Caralleu, where the meeting point will be the reception of the center. In all the activities, the enrolled ones will be able to accede to the center organizer 15 minutes before the beginning of the activity.

Registered people will be entitled to use the changing rooms of the sports center that organize the activity, and in the event of rain, they can use the facilities.

The first activity to be carried out will be a Nordic march on Saturday 14 in April. He will leave Can Caralleu, will pass through the CEM Claror and Sagrada Familia and will finish at the CEM Marítim, to publicize the four centers. The closing activity will be an open sea day in front of the Maritime.
