who are we?

La Fundació Claror is a private Catalan non-profit organization that promotes sport, health and leisure for all. It was born as a Foundation in 1989, although the entity as such was created in 1978, then in the form of a Cooperative.

Foundation Claror manages the Barcelona Municipal Sports Centers under an administrative concession: CEM Claror (Claror Sardenya), CEM Sagrada Familia (Claror Cartagena), CEM Marítim (Claror Marítim) and since January 1, 2020 the CEM Can Caralleu (Claror Can Caralleu).

In addition, the Fundació Claror It is the entity that leads the Grup Claror, which is also part of Llinarsport SL, a company that manages on a concession basis l'Esportiu de Llinars, and which provides sports services to the EAS Taradell, and to different municipal facilities in Sant Joan Despí. 

El Grup Claror, based in Barcelona, ​​currently has 9 clubs sports of municipal ownership in Catalonia, which it manages through granting or provision of services. Among the nine clubs it has a social mass of more than 45.000 subscribers and employs more than 650 workers.

Foundation Claror, as an entity presenting public services is subject to Law 19/2014, of 29 December, on Transparency, access to public information and good governance.
