    Last 6 Sunday in May the 34a edition of La Milla Sagrada Familia - Gaudí Sport's Grand Prix was held. All a sports and family morning, under the insistent rain that did not stop falling in the morning.
    Increase of participants in the popular series
    The popular series of the Sagrada Familia Mile have brought together 1.444 athletes, some 200 participants more than last year, and consolidates a year more like the urban mile par excellence of Catalonia, with a wide popular participation in all categories .

    Jointly registered with the Association of Children with Cancer
    La Milla has this year the joint enrollment in La Casa dels Xuklis, a home for families with children with cancer, managed by the AFANOC (Association of Children with Cancer).
    All professional athletes, prior to their departure, have also placed the cap of AFANOC in solidarity with all the children who suffer from the disease.
    A race with history
    La Milla, organized by the Claror Foundation from 1985, has more than 30 years of history. The race is developed around the temple of the Sagrada Familia and is structured in different series depending on the ages of the participants. La Milla is distinguished from the other urban races due to the high participation that has its edition after edition and has been consolidated as one of the most representative tests of the city, both in terms of popular and professional participation.
