What is the FIT Senior Program?

Senior-Fit is a program of activities directed, planned, organized and repeated regularly, which aims to maintain and / or improve the overall fitness of our subscribers. We want learning to do the exercises to be one of the goals as well. Every week there are several Senior-FIT activities, both dry and in water, differentiated by the different work objectives: Cardio, Strength and Equilibrium.

  • Senior FIT Strength

    The Senior Fit Força activity is aimed at physical preparation for those over 60, where displacements, hip extension, traction, thrusts, rotations, squats, circuits and movements are worked on to improve strength.

  • Senior FIT Cardio

    In the Senior Fit Cardio activity, important exercises are worked on to maintain physical and cardiovascular condition. These are exercises that facilitate the activities of daily living, travel, climbing stairs, etc.

  • Senior FIT Equilibrium

    The Senior Fit Equilibrium activity works on balance, stretching, proprioception, breathing, relaxation, as well as coordination and joint mobility. Helping to prevent injuries during physical activity and to prevent falls.

  • Senior FIT Force Water

    In the water, the activity Senior Fit Strength Water is aimed at physical preparation for over 60. We work in the pool in exercises of displacement, hip extension, traction, thrusts, rotations and movements to improve strength .

  • Senior FIT Cardio Water

    In the Senior Fit Cardio Water activity, important exercises are worked on to maintain physical and cardiovascular condition. Inside the pool we work on exercises that help prevent or postpone the onset of cardiovascular disease and particularly ischemic heart disease and heart failure.

  • Senior FIT Equilibrium Water

    The Senior Fit Equilibrium Aigua activity works on balance, stretching, proprioception, breathing, relaxation, as well as coordination and joint mobility within the water. All of these exercises help prevent injuries during physical activity and prevent falls.

Why dry and in water?

Because they are different areas and they all have their benefits. Pool: The benefits of training in the pool is an increase in cardiopulmonary resistance, stimulates blood circulation, as the thermal action of pool water on the body produces an activation of the circulatory system.
