Christmas is coming, and with it, all the family gatherings that are so classic this time of year. Whether you organize any of the meetings in your home or you are a guest, we suggest you 5 healthy snacks to maintain a healthy diet this holiday.

Easy and healthy snack recipes

This year we propose to avoid heavy snacks like fried, seasoned or only animal.

So what foods can we put on this holiday table? We suggest you include in all the dishes vegetables and concentrate on those healthier proteins. Use more pickles, more seafood, nuts and low-fat dairy.

Acorn ham chocolates

  • Acorn ham (may also be smoked salmon)
  • Low fat cheese
  • Pistachios (can also be dates or nuts)

We will paint the holes in the bucket with oil, cover them with the ham and let it sober on the sides and then wrap them up. Fill with the cream cheese mixture and the chopped nuts and cover the chocolate. We put them in the fridge for at least two hours so that they get consistency. They can also be frozen.

Artichoke heart with beef tartar

  • Milk cream

For the branding:

  • Desalted cod
  • Oli
  • Garlic clove
  • Low fat milk cream

Heat oil in a pan, add garlic cloves and cod, cook until cod is ready. Add one or two tablespoons of the cream and incorporate all the ingredients. The mixture is passed through the blender until a homogeneous cream. On the other hand we will crush the peppers with a little cream to make the cream of peppers of the piquillo. Assemble the jar by putting a brandy base on top of the bell pepper cream. We can decorate with a little chopped parsley.

To make guacamole: two avocados, one ripe tomato, one onion, lime juice, one cilantro leaf and chili. The avocado is opened in the middle, the bone is removed and its meat is emptied. Cut pita bread into six wedges. Put the salted pallet on the base as if it were a trunk of the fir. Spread the pita bread with the guacamole and decorate with the walnuts.

Zucchini and shrimp cannelloni

  • Sesame seeds

Cut zucchini slices with a mandolin. Clean and cut the vegetables into julienne. Sauté them together with the prawns, add soy sauce and sesame. On a plate mark the zucchini slices and remove. We have two strips of zucchini crossed on top of each other. Add a little sauté and wrap the stuffing. We can secure it with a toothpick.
