Hello, I'm Álex, yoga instructor at Can Caralleu. Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means union, it is a millennial discipline that encompasses different tools, different practices to free the human being from their physical, mental and emotional burdens.

In Yoga we find several traditions and the tools used for this purpose of what we talked about releasing loads are three basic ones, there are some traditions that would include others, but the basics would be: Pranayames or respiratory exercises; Mantras are words or syllables that repeating them for a few minutes help calm the mind and, Asanes, which is the most physical part that everyone knows.

At Can Caralleu and the Claror Foundation there are 2 basic yogis we provide, Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga.

The Yoga Kundalini is a more dynamic yoga that compiles these breaths, these Mantras and these Asanas to work on a particular purpose. Sessions are very much related to the maintenance of each position very specific to work something specific. The issues to work are to open the body, feel high, awaken intuition, detoxify the body, etc. There are thousands of Kriyes, who are called.

The Hatha Yoga what it does is from the Asanas, from the basic positions, to combine them in the way that the teacher considers fit to work a session more focused on stretching, toning, balance, inverted, etc.

We invite you to attend the sessions that we make at all the centers of the Foundation and many thanks.
